Sheffield seems a long time ago now. We had a busy summer saying goodbye to friends - lots of evenings out! The summer was great. Kathryn turned 30 and celebrated in style with a flying lesson she'd dreamed about for most of her life.

We combined her party with our leaving party in July in Jim & Marie Willis' amazing garden/allotment.

We left our little house in Firth Park to our tenants and in September arrived in Oxford to start our new life at Wycliffe Hall.

We got the last college house and were expecting it to be in the nasty state it was in when we visited during the summer but travelling down the Lord gave Kathryn a picture/smell (?!) of the house being freshly painted and looking great and it was!
Moving in and settling down seemed easy. We realised we'd done much of our 'grieving' for Sheffield during the last year we were there, so didn't have to deal with it here. It's been pretty easy to make friends, too.
Joannah turned one on 25th October and we had a family party to celebrate. Emily will be three on 1st December and off to nursery in January, her place miraculously provided by the Lord! He's been so good to us. We've lots more to tell so watch this space ...
Been thinking about you lots, so it's great you have a blog! Looking forward to staying in touch
